6th Grade Band Announcements 


Band Shirt Order

  • Your child will need a band shirt for their spring concert and Carowinds

  • Shirts are $20 for small to xl and $25 for xxl and up 

  • The order form is attached 

  • Please return with money by February 9th 


Spring Concert

  • March 12th, 6:00 pm, LMS gym 

  • Students will stay after school for rehearsal 

  • I will feed them 

  • Students will wear band shirts and school appropriate pants 


Carowinds 

  • April 24th 

  • Cost of the trip: $55 for students, $40 for chaperones, no cost for season pass holders 

  • I am trying to get a grant to pay for the student’s tickets. I will know by the end of the month if I have received the grant. 

  • If I do not receive the grant, the money is due March 2nd 

  • Please email me if you want to be a chaperone. Chaperones need to be able to stay the entire trip. Estimated departure from LMS: 8:00 am   Estimated return to LMS: 8:00 pm 


Fundraisers

  • We need help with fundraising because I do not get funding from the district to pay for instruments, reeds, music, supplies, etc. 

  • Fundraisers pay for more than your child’s trip 

  • Attached is the Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser page 

  • Orders are due February 6th and will be ready for pick up on February 13th 

  • Each cake is $8. A portion of the profit will go towards the Carowinds trip 

  • Checks made payable to Lewisville Bands
